KeK SuGEE

Cam rasa nak buat lagi lah..ader x sugee kat rumah?urm...

Salam Jumaat..whoa best nyer dia yg tak keja hari Sabtu kan?..Hari nih last keja..esok dah boleh bangun lambat bermalasan-malasan..mcm haku nih..takder keja pun kena dtg ofis gak..hadoii..bila lah bos haku nih nak implement Sabtu hari cuti keja..hahahah..Tapi to all selamat berhujung minggu..surelah banyak acara kan..cuti sekolah pun dah sampai penghujung kan..?Haku kan seminggu dua nih suka bebenar..sbb? mood nak membaking haku nih naik kelevel 200%..ader je project yg haku buat..lepas satu satu..suka2.Masa nih lah haku gunakan sebaiknya..mencuba resepi2 baru..ialah asyik menyalin resepi je kan..buatnyer ntah bila..Kek Suge nih lama sungguh haku intai..memula tuh dah nampak dah kat Dapur Abg Mat Gebu..tapi haku salin resepi jerk..lepas tuh simpan buat pekasam..then bebaru nih masa selak2 resepi kat Dapur Kak Rima yg duk kat Singapore tuh..terpandang lagi Kek Sugee nih..terus tergoda..bahan pun dah ader kat rumah..baca feedback2 semua ttg Kek nih mcm best..Why not I give a try kan?..bila buat..mmg tak salah kek nih moist je gituh..rasa lemak sugee..rasa lemak almond..bau pun wangi je bila baru kuar oven tuh..tapi takderlah haku hadap sebiji kek nih sensorang..Kek nih haku buat together2 dgn kek Alunan kasih tuh..bawak balik kampung masa kenduri arwah ayahanda kita.Tapi yang nih haku buat ikut version kak Rima yerk..version abg mat nyer tuh nak buat nanti..( kena peram lagi..) hahahaha

Kek Sugee

Ingredients
250 gm butter, softened
250 castor sugar (i used 220g)
125 SR Flour (i used all purpose flour n add 1tsp baking powder)
1 tsp baking powder
125 gm semolina flour
50 gm cashews, ground (I used ground almonds)
1/3 cup evaporated milk
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 tsp buttercream essence or rose essence(i used cranberry extract)
5 eggs plus 1 yolk, the whole eggs separated


Method
Preheat oven to 150 C

Stir semolina flour, Self Raising flour, baking powder and nuts together in a bowl and leave aside.

Seperate all the eggs. Cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy. Add the egg yolks one at a time. Add cold milk, vanilla extract and buttercream essence and mix well.

In another bowl beat egg whites till stiff. Fold in flour mixture into creamed mixture. Then fold in beaten egg whites gently until well mixed.

Bake 150 C for 50-60 mins until skewer comes out clean
